Angel Ishtar

The Goddess of fertility and war.
As one of the many astral deities, Ishtar was believed to be one of the more important Mesopotamian goddesses. She is the Akkadian counterpart of the Sumerian Goddess Inanna, who served as both the goddess of love, fertility and contradictorily war. In the Babylonian culture, she was, like Inanna, the incarnation of the Venus and evolved to be associated with the forces of death and disaster as the provider of justice.
