Sumerian Goddess of love and war
Inanna was the Sumerian Goddess of love and war. Although she is not considered a maternal figure she has no association with parturition, she is believed to be the goddess of love, sensuality, and fertility. Inanna was also associated with the planet Venus and affiliated with political power and provocation, which lead to her connection with storms and war.
