The Goddess Seshet

The Egyptian Goddess who was accredited with the development of written language and the establishment of historical records. In the application of this office she is considered to have been among the first Librarians. It was believed that she inspired the science of mathematics and it’s implementation in both accounting and architecture. However, she was revered for her apparent influence in the discipline of astronomy, which was considered her most esteemed accomplishment.
