We identify with this individual as one of those we would wish to be, one of those who stands for his beliefs, for the truth and falls rather than fails.
From a metaphorical perspective the fallen hero represents the truth, but his truth will neither save him nor be universal in its’ value. He defines a tragedy that remains the noblest part of our being, yet what are his reasons to act, to risk and to fall? He is incorruptible, yet like treason, he is only a hero to one side and will be known as the traitor, a terrorist, in the opposing perspective.
